On Tuesday evening I entered my first photography competition. I recently joined the North Shore Camera Club that has a monthly competition judged by pro photographers. I was really nervous but did I got great feedback. I entered two images. The first was the Shield Bugs from my home page and the second was the two tigers. The tigers won an award and the bugs won an honorable mention. I got an extra round of applause as it was my first competition! The tiger image that won was also selected to take to compete at the Chicago Area Camera Club Association competition. I was so pleased. Can't wait for the next competition now!
