Second Nature Photography Talk

17/03/2015
After the success of my Nature Photography talk at the Lake County Audubon Society meeting (over 80 people came along and it was standing room only!) I was asked by the North Shore Camera Club to give a program. This is the description of my talk from their website:

EMMA WAS BORN IN ENGLAND AND LATER MOVED TO SWEDEN FOR TWO YEARS WHERE SHE TRAINED IN PHOTOGRAPHY, SPECIALIZING IN BIRDS. IN 2012 SHE MOVED TO THE U.S. AND VOLUNTEERED FOR MANY NON-PROFIT GROUPS SPECIALIZING IN MONITORING AND RESTORATION OF WILDLIFE HABITATS. THROUGH CONSERVATION, MONITORING AND HER BACKGROUND IN BIOLOGY, EMMA HAS FURTHER DEVELOPED AS A NATURE PHOTOGRAPHER. EMMA WILL SHOW IMAGES DEPICTING THE WIDE VARIETY OF WILDLIFE THAT CAN BE SEEN IN LAKE COUNTY. THE MAIN FOCUS OF THE PROGRAM WILL BE BIRD PHOTOGRAPHY. TIPS WILL BE GIVEN FOR FINDING AND PHOTOGRAPHING OWLS IN THE WILD ALONG WITH INFORMATION ON LAKE COUNTY'S BEST BIRD WATCHING SITES. EMMA WILL PROVIDE INFORMATION AND TIPS FOR THOSE INTERESTED IN STARTING OUT IN NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY. DETAILS WILL ALSO BE GIVEN OF A NEW NATURE PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION THAT LAKE COUNTY AUDUBON SOCIETY WILL BE INTRODUCING IN 2015.
