I was really excited about attending the Indiana Dunes Birding Festival 2018. I was there last year and it was awesome. I had a table at their Marketplace on Friday and Saturday to sell my bird photographs and greetings cards. I had such an amazing time at the festival. There were beautiful birds, met some great people and made some sales too. So pleased that my "Home Tweet Home" photograph that I donated to the Indiana Dunes Birding Festival silent auction went to such a good home. It was purchased by the lovely couple I met at the event who designed the box and work to protect and conserve the beautiful Prothonotary Warbler. I took the photograph at the festival in 2017. It was such a special moment seeing my first Prothonotary Warbler when he popped his head out of the nest box at the Wilson Boardwalk. Had such an amazing time and can't wait to go back to the festival next year.
